More medal than coin but it is worthy of posting here. Le Chameau was a treasure ship that went down in 1725 in a hurricane off Louisbourg Cape Breton with lots of gold and silver aboard, it was discovered in May 1965. http://canadiancoinnews.com/le-cham...scotia-1725/ |
