I'm thinking I have this coin: http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces42500.html

Central Asia - Bukhara

Abd Al-Ahad

I don't know what year it is though. I think it has something to to with the dots on the back. Krause catalog is a little vague though how to date them. Does anyone know?

I think the date is possibly bottom of the left pic but has been worn off.

rooneydog: You are correct that it should be on the left pic. Unfortunately mine does not have the die centered on the planchet. The date would be down a few millimeters.

In case anyone comes along after the fact here is a picture of a coin with the date on the planchet: http://numismatics.org/collection/1920.153.103
