My first impression is 'yes' but then I enlarged the second photo and it looks like it took a hit.


Anyway, if it is a die crack it probably doesn't have any significant premium value -- but I'd keep it until I found a better one.

Yes, it's either just a die crack or a die crack in combination with a small die chip. Can you make that determination with the coin in hand?

I actually have quite a few dimes with cracks or chips in this exact same spot, at about the same size as well.
