I'm not a note collector but am assuming this is a Large Note. This was thrown in on a deal I made for a $2-1/2 & a $5 Gold Indian. Not in the best shape.
$1-Large?-Note

Yes, it's a Series 1917 $1 Legal Tender

Value wise I have no idea.

That is an awesome looking note! Here is a link to the completed listings on ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sac...Sold=1&rt=nc

I would guess it is a $50-$60 note or something around there. It is in fairly good circulated condition.

This looks F-VF and could sell for $75 or so if you flatten it out a little bit.

Having good color, a few stains and folds I'd call it "fine with some foxing/stains.

Value wise wholesale would be around 30$; retail 50 to 60$.

After I took these pictures I put it under stack of books hoping to flatten it out. Haven't checked to see how it's doing. I thought this might be in the VG-F range & might be worth $40-50.

You might also try steam to help release some of the wrinkles.

I have never seen a 1$ bill that old.
This is why I love this site, I see things every hour that I have never seen before in my life.
Thank you very much for sharing!
