Have any of you who roll hunt cents ever come across a 55 DDO?

I was lucky enough to get two solid rolls of 'fifty-fives from a 1,000+ wheat bank find. No success.

I am aware of a member on here who has found one.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

I've found plenty of 1955 cents, no doubled-die errors.

That coin has been a known valuable rarity for so long I would expect almost all have been plucked from circulation .... but you never know ...

I read a news article a few years back about a coin dealer who released a 1955 doubled die and a 1909-S VDB into circulation as a promotional stunt on the anniversary of his store's opening. Never heard a follow up stating if anyone found them.

One or two members on here found a 1992-P Close AM, which is worth considerably more than the famous '55 doubled die.

Well, chances of finding a DDO 1955 are really, really slim. Maybe a little better than winning powerball... I've been searching cents in high volume for six years and haven't found anything remotely scarce. Best was a '09 non-vdb in F+ condition. Did find a blank planchet. Lots of BU++ from the 1950s.
