I have a 1964 Kennedy Proof that was slabbed by PCGS.
How can I tell when it was graded ? The label on it
looks like it was done around the time the earth cooled !!

Seriously, the label looks like it was printed on a dot matrix printer.

Just wondering if it's worth a crack at a re-grade.

Thanks,

Richard S.

Can I assume the "rattler" holder was so named because the coin moved
inside the holder ?

If true, then I guess I have a "rattler". That dates it to the 1986 to
1989 time period.

Thanks for the link,

Not worth the cost to re-grade. IMHO
I believe the time to submit a coin for grading is, when the coin has a numismatic value above $100+. There could be exceptions.
The other CCF members could chime in with more advice.

Unless it is worth at least $200 I don't bother to submit coins for grading.

Some of the earlier slabs are worth more now, because of the grading standards employed, rarity of holder, etc.

Post up a picture of your slab and the coin.....many are here to help.
