1911-S Wheat Penny? - Coin Community Forum

Frostbite123 New Member United States 23 Posts	Posted 08/25/2014 11:56 pm I have a 1911-s Wheat penny I found going through my coin collection that previously belonged to my grandfather. I bought them from my aunt after he died. Earlier today, I found it going through a stack of wheat pennies of various dates. Form the Red Book the 1911-s wheaties are worth around 50.00 in good condition. The problem with my coin is that the back of it had a piece of paper stuck to it. Look like it was glued onto it. jimbucks Pillar of the Community United States 4692 Posts	Posted 08/26/2014 12:17 am To get the glue off, soak it in acetone. If it is still stuck, rub it with a Q-tip. It should come off. Report this Post to the Staff
