It hasn't been sanded and is only half as thick as a normal nickel. The struck side is also concave

Also the "wrinkle" in the middle goes all the way through.

Its also slightly larger in diameter and about a third the weight. The struck side is very lightly defined compared to a normal.  |

You can see the sanding/grinder marks. People do strange things to coins.

It may be the camera as it is not scored in the middle around the wrinkle. It is also cross hatched (being a car guy) honed. Hard to do in a flat circle more likely a cut from a cylinder. There is also no discoloration from heat that would be generated standing off 2/3 if a metal objects mass

100% PMD, the striations on the "blank" side are a dead giveaway for a grinding job and the rest of the coin is just plain mangled and abused. There is absolutely nothing in the minting process that could cause a coin to look like that one. |
