Well, after being unsuccessful shooting decent pics through my AmScope (https://goccf.com/t/183133) I asked my bride for a new toy for my birthday. Got an Olliclip for my Iphone after seeing some of the results of others shooting with this at CCF. Got to say, I am pretty satisfied with the results. Still got to work on a better way to steady the phone for a better focus. What do you think?

Looks very decent. I've seen some reasonably priced cellphone copy stands on ebay.

Pics look as good if not better then some point-n-shoot cameras.

Have you photographed a full coin? I'd love to see what it looks like. Thanks

piratelou-here is a pic of the entire coin. Don't get me wrong, I love the camera for what I planned to use it for, ie, mintmarks, DDO's, etc. It works fine. It also will take an ok pic of the entire coin but you really need a good camera and a good lens (macro) for quality pics of an entire coin. Since you have to have the camera close to the coin, I cannot get a flat shot with appropriate lighting so I have to angle the coin to get good lighting. That makes it a little difficult getting the entire coin in focus.
