Not claiming that you are a militarist, used it only as opposite to pacifist.
But trying to trip people into jumping to conclusions is part of the humour constantly used in my hometown.

Not sure about the chin, but let's try

Hostilian?

No. I am going to bed but will leave you a nice hint . The Emperor taxed his subjects harshly and targeted wealthy Roman families.

If you go to bed, I will leave it for the early morning (US time) shift to resolve it. Otherwise it might be blocked until I get up, in case that I am correct that is.

I just had to check if anyone got it. Severus Alexander, we were all over the place with that one.

No with Elagabalus Echizento and yes we went from Flavius Victor to Aurelian and every Emperor in between.. Fun fact Severus Alexander actually reduced the taxes peope were paying after the Constitutio Antoniniana . Elagabalus did tax harshly but did not target individuals based on wealth . He was to busy doing god knows what :)

You are up again?

Two emperors in my mind - but with both there is some minor problem with the portrait, first guess:

Julian?

You are right, so I have to go with

Carus?

Postscript:

Correction - Julian I still had radiate crowns, you are thinking of Julian II. But whatever, the numbering for the Julians is confused.

Julian I ? There was no Emperor called Julian I just Julian II ( his father was a Julian so thats why he is II) Let me read over this again http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...man_emperors
