Those pics might set off alarms at the RCM.....

For clarity, I think the 2015 silver is just the 2014 gold effigy coin with two extra leaves.

I would rather buy the 1/2 oz silver coin instead.

Not really be compared in therms of purchase

I like both.
My budget and rest of series like the silver one...that's what I did.

"Farewell to Penny set" went 3xIssue price. I just imagine what will be the secondary market price of the "Tribute to Nickel" set. Close to $2000. Great buy!
But I'll wait for single coin, then golden V and golden Beaver.

**The box from "Fishing set" will be hot - one and only one RCM 38mm 4-coin box.

Added:
In overall have to say that this is very good release by RCM, basically because collectors with different interests and the budget can find here something. The nice thing also, that nothing here to do for the hoarders/flippers, and the coins will be distributed by Mint and/or dealers.

Ordered the fish and nickel subscriptions. I am a fisherman so I really like these. Can't wait to show them to my fishing buddies.

The 1KG eyes of the cougar is 'awaiting stock' and moved to the end of the new releases (usually means it's sold out). That was fast for $2300 times 500 coins.

Its the second coin in the series so people who already have the snowy owl coin from last year would want it. The rest was probably bought by dealers. BTW, the 1st coin is still available for issue price from dealers.

I like the Maple Leaf series and have a few, they generally go down in price on the secondary market.
I am going to take the wait and see approach on this round of NCLT. Will snipe what I like. Lots to offer in each release means discounts later.

It will be the same, SilverDon....priced will be reduced.

even now, I prefer to buy inexpensive items directly - the discount for them will not be big, and buying from dealer means shipping charge.

I may be able to combine the 2014 and 2015 Maple Leaf from CA for a bundle, will wait. I like the free shipping for those that I want right away like the Proof SD, Welcome to the World, Year of the Sheep, regular pickups.

I'm a sucker for the retro. This big 5c series is going to be interesting. That said, I would have preferred to see an accurate size coin to go along with each too. That would have been cool.

"Each coin's 40-mm diameter makes it double the size of the original"

I've completely missed the 20-mm fishscales. Mine are all 15.5-mm

I ordered two of the 1/2 ounce silver $10 coins (not sure exactly why, maybe the price) and hope the 5 cent set won't be a disappointment.

Not sure what 'EACH COIN INCLUDES A UNIQUE EFFIGY' means if the RCM is going to start with George V and repeat his effigy 'for the two leaves' nickel. Would have rather had an Edward VII since since George V has been redone a few times already.

Either way, I think it will be a fabulous set and hope it goes up in price too! Doubt we will end up with any bald beavers or near and far leave varieties but the rabbit in gold should be nice.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first time the RCM has made a large mouth bass coin?

Are you a Master Club member? If so, just go to the subscription page of the RCM site.

If not, you have to wait until next week for the general public release.

Sport fish are not usually topical choice, so I'd say no, this hasn't been done before to this scale.

Should be a real swimmer of a series!

The Nickel set looks very nice... I may regret this but I'm going to wait for the farewell to the Nickel set.
The Fish set looks interesting as well but over priced for a coffee table / mantle display or gift.

@ Haha thanks proof nut! I Love the puns! I've loved fishing since I was a kid and I even messaged the RCM to make a fish in Canada so I guess they listened
