Mehmed II doesn't really help much if the coin is not dated.

Well in the world of numismatics don't you think some concessions should be made? So what if a dated coin was not in vogue.

No argument on that but Mehmed II's rule (the second one) was quite extensive.

There will be a lot more coins to show I guess, but how many can drive the thread further? There are plenty issues with minting periods exceeding 100 years.

I think it changes when someone posts a coin meeting the Criteria in intervals of 10 years.

If it was 1470's on the 6th Feb and it goes backwards by 10 years in a day and we are now 6 days on from the 1470's how come we have only gone backwards one lot of 10 years in 6 days? I must be missing something (again). Please explain?
