Acid,corrosion?lines really show strong. Look's to me that the copper is gone and feel's lighter than the normal penny. Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 09/30/2007 11:18 am The lines are die polishing lines ,, as for the color its very hard to judge from a photograph if its on the coin or in the coin if you know what I mean . Guessing about things might cause someone to learn the wrong thing. There is no way that they are die polishing lines as they look completely different. Damage= Sure it's damaged, It's a 26 year old 81-d Color is in the coin, not on the coin! I have not tryed the COKE idea, but that make's the most sense.
