I was looking through the RedBook today for something to go roll hunting for. I came across the 1982 Roosevelt dime, no mint mark.
I went to the bank and got about one hundred dollars in dimes. didn't find any, but what I did find was quite a few 1982p and 1983p's. The RedBook puts these at 5 bucks at ms65. My question is...why are they worth more?. The mintage doesn't seem to be it...or is it?. I've found about a dozen of them so far.

Thanks, J.

I don't know why P mints are more valuable but I keep the 82's and 83's that are EF or better from Denver and Philly.
