uh oh. that quarter is Mechanical Doubling...i think I see a very minor class 2 on the proof half, but would need different light angle to tell.. ty,joe

The quarter is Mechanical Doubling. I don't want to post any thoughts on the half without seeing the coin in person.

The quarter posted at the very beginning of the thread is a knockout Doubled Die. Maybe a closer look at the fantastic notches and split serifs will help some folks here see what a DDO is supposed to look like:-). GREAT COIN!
