A very nice dollar with great luster. Unfortunately a couple of heavy hits on obverse will hurt the grade. MS60-62
I have found 1964 MS silver dollars are under rated and hard to find in higher MS grades like 64 or 65.

I'd say MS60-MS62, it has some larger scratches and scuffs.

Sold to me as UNC+, which was described as
MS-62. I agree that the dings make it a
MS-60. Thanks for the help. Jimmyd, yes I
see more PL '64 dollars in higher numbers
than business strikes.

MS-60, I wouldn't go by colonial acres grading...a person sold some of their coins to my LCS, we compared his grade and my grade with the colonial acres grade and theirs were at least a point higher for everyone.

Yes only says UNC+ on the 2x2 but the description on the invoice was MS-62. Thanks Dollarman.

MS 60 which makes it really only a bullion piece.1964 even though a huge original Mintage is a very tough coin in grades above MS63. Date is notorious for heavy gouges and bag marks. A coin in ICCS MS 65 is indeed a prize ,with 64 s almost as tough.
