Too small for me to be a pocket piece...definitely would be accidentally spent I use a Euro 20 cent golden coin both as a pocket piece and a golf ball marker..no biggie if it is lost and people think it's a gold coin on the green  I tried a SAC $1 but that turned a really ugly color  Edited by Foxwoods Man

A reverse proof Roosevelt dime pocket piece would be interesting to say the least. I know when the Baseball HOF coins came out, some talked about using the silver dollar as a pocket piece to see how the coin wears over time. I just imagine the reverse proof Roosevelt dime as a pocket piece would see Roosevelt's face covered in scratches within a week. |

When those Sac sets came out, they spiked in price to around $50, then crashed down to like $30 - $35, and now are back up to near $50 again. Thank you for the clarification. For what it is worth, using the reverse proof as a pocket piece would be an example of taking crazy to a whole new level. |

Making pocket piece out of the Commemorative $1 would give you less chance of being loss or accidentally spent. But not many people care about the $1 Commem though.....

I just imagine the March of Dimes proof dollar would be covered in fingerprints rather quickly.
Sometimes, I like to envision what certain coins would look like when worn heavily. It's kind of like imagining what a building would look like if abandoned for ten years.

These look like they are finally starting to thin out a little. The RP is holding up well in price, at least the MS70 is, goes for right about 100. Raw sets look to be going for 70-80. Someone had some 7 hundred something raw sets of them up and most of them sold out for 89.

$89 is a pretty good return for a $62 set, I'd say, if you can get it!
Reminds me I need to pull this set out and take a look at it again. Haven't really done anything with it since it came in the mail almost a year and a half ago.
