1858 Vicky Cent With OBV Chinese Chop Marks Gradeable ?

Everest Pillar of the Community Taiwan 606 Posts	Posted 05/22/2015 10:20 am Upon further review of an article written by F.M. Rose in a 1987 study of Chopmarks. He listed different types of Chopmarks. One of the types he lists are cuts to the edges of the coin. These were in the form of file marks. Chopmarks were used on silver and gold coins to indicate the stamper considered them to be of proper weight. Report this Post to the Staff
