I have always just stored my bullion hidden from sight, occasionally taking it out in private to look at some of the "fancy" designs. I recently decided to put my silver bullets out in my gaming setup since they fit the theme and are a heck of a lot cheaper than my electronics anyway...
So do you guys have any pieces you are willing/happy to put on display somewhere, or do you hide every piece?

I show off my Franklin half dollars in a folder... Altough it's not really bullion! When I get my 2015 ASE I will display it (in my room, of course).

Yup sure do, out in the open in the office. Every coin purchase, which are gold and silver bullion and proof coins that I buy in the year I put in display and then I usually keep out for several years some favorites and rotate coins.

I displayed the 4 coin Kennedy anniversary set before we moved but haven't unpacked it from my coin box since January. Haven't had a good place for it found yet. That was it though

right on! I see a lot of people that don't share with their closest family that they even buy any. I don't share all of it of course, but $100 worth of something cool like the bullets is something I feel worth sharing with anyone allowed in my room. It's hard to justify hiding something like that when it fits in perfectly around $2500+ worth of electronics hooked to the tv lol.... Honestly most people don't even notice them, they notice the 10lb copper bar I use as a paper weight

Oh god no. Both 3 of my neighbors have been robbed. For some reason we have not been robbed. But seriously, I don't want to lose my lifes work.

But seriously, I don't want to lose my lifes work I'm not sure that would make me move the bullets... there's almost no time anyone can see in my window. Even if they did get in i'd be more worried about personal info and electronics. The rest of my bullion is separated well enough i'd like to believe

I have, but nobody seems interested in them, I don't even tell family what I'm buying anymore, not one has any interest in au/ag. I keep a polished Morgan dollar on my desk where I can see it. Now, some kilo coins, or 5 oz. size would make good display/hang on the wall types. I do have the 50 State Quarters framed on the wall..

@everything, I agree, no one cares. If my home were broken into, the burglar would probably look over the pm's and pass, and go for the electronics or what not, and hopefully take the cat too.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72

Never outside of my LCS and this forum. Sure, security is a concern. The bigger reason, however, is most people around here who want to talk money have no interest in or respect for metals.

My gold is kept in safety deposit boxes, but I photograph each coin before taking it to the bank. I suppose a robber could do a home invasion, force me to go down to the bank and open the box. While inside the vault, hopefully I could inform the teller, who would call the in swat team.
It's unclear if this is a good strategy, or not. I wonder how many people would get killed (besides myself) in a robbery like this?

I would like to display stuff but in my situation its far too risky I feel. Only person who has any idea of what I have is the old lady and she understands to never talk about it to anyone. My mother and father and brother and sister know I like coins and silver but don't know what I have at all as I always downplay the collections size and refuse to be specific at all.
