Hello. I have two Morgans that I am contemplating cracking out and regrading. Posted one earlier and this is the other one. Still honing my grading skills and would love an opinion on this coin. Maybe I put too much stock in eye appeal and it is graded accurately. Thanks for your help.

Unless this is a slam dunk MS65 there is no return for cracking and re-grading. CAC would be a more cost effective alternative.

I agree with MS63 with a shot at MS64.

The coin technically looks like a MS63. The coin does have nice toning and eye appeal, and I could see the coin being in a MS64 holder.

Absolutely a 64, shot at 65. Those fields are fantastic for a Morgan.

I would say MS64, maybe a 65, but there isn't enough light on the cheek to tell.
