Certainly been a long time since I did a box of nickels. Would love to get back into it, but TD Bank no longer has a coin counter, which made everything easier. Glad to see people are still out and about searching for cool stuff! Hopefully the finds will never dry up :)

I haven't been able to go through too many rolls in the last couple of months, but here are some of the better coins that I found. The highlights were a silver coin from Turkey in a machine-wrapped roll (my first silver foreign coin in a roll), and a lustrous War Nickel. The pictured coins are: 1947 Turkey Kurus (silver), 1938-D, 1943-P, 1950-P, 1936-D, 2006-S proof.   |

Searched a box over the weekend. Highlights were a 1945S War Nickel, 2 2009D's, and a 41S and 47S. |

That was great 1943P and the Turkish coin was great also.

Dad's - Nice finds, how are you doing on your set.
aristarchus123 - Nice finds on the Turkish silver, 38D and hope the 43P was a upgrade.
Finally did some searching last week, will post a report soon.

searched only 2 nickel rolls yesterday...not much to speak of...best finds were a 2001 - S with more scratch marks than a soup sandwich, and a 1939 Philly.

Searched 5 more rolls....no keepers other than an 09 D if that counts.

hhb- 09's not that easy. In my case many more Silvers & Buffalo's than 09's
Dad's - Keep it going, it's nice to see updates on what is still needed for the people trying to make the set CRH only.
If I remember right two of us needing 1 more.

Another 8 rolls....nothing...not one keeper.
