Perth Mint - To mark the 50th anniversary of Australian decimalisation, The Perth Mint has re-created Stuart Devlin's 1c and 2c decimal coin designs portraying Australia's feathertail glider and frill-necked lizard. The 2016 commemorative releases are each struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver and issued as Australian legal tender. Accompanied by the original copper coins, this set has a limited mintage of just 2,000.

Those are pretty cool! A bit too pricey at $130 USD though, I think.

Strange that on the obverse the denomination is given as $1.

The coins are great, expensive though...
Yes, and unfortunatelly, the denomination is $1 Tuvalu.
I have the 2011 set of silver 1c + 2c, in their original dimensions...wish, they be bigger.

You absolutely correct.
Sorry for misleading, don't remember, where from I took this.
It is good, just still would be better to have 1 and 2 cents, similar to RCM issued in 2012 1/2 oz Penny (1 cent) ant 5oz Penny.
