Then read the original thread properly dude.... I way to old to be called dude. Way too many times in this forum I read posts like yours where folks jump right away without properly reading the thread.

The proper way for you to respond was to simply say I should have read the thread better. I'm sorry. then leave it at that. This response again proves that our society has reached a point of 'deflect blame' any time we can instead of being humble and apologizing.

No one is ever to old to be called dude.

And I did say my apologies for mis reading it.

But whatever. Clearly you are intent on taking everything I say in a negative fashion. No skin off my back.

and typically along with a bunch of other deflecting words as well. You're right though you did apologize about missing the fact that it was a mint set and not a proof set, but your other remarks were just as rude. As is calling someone 'dude'...

GR58, I went through a bunch of sets when I built my albums. Never found one like that. It IS uncommon, but not overly valuable I think.

Not sure what I would do with one if I found one.

I do remember finding a 2004 set, that looked like
it has a Texas quarter with a satin finish. Of course
satin finish coins did not start until 2005.

Not sure what I did with that quarter.

Let's face it, the quality control just isn't was it should be at the US mint

I wouldn't even go that far. Based on what I've received, I'd say that there is not quality control at the US mint. There certainly is no visual inspection.
