When I first started collecting, I made a binder with stuff I found and it was getting large. Now I look back at this collection and realize, I wasted 4 cents on each coin in that binder on 2X2s. So keep looking there are a lot more coins that are more interesting that die chips. Report this Post to the Staff
Dave42 Pillar of the Community United States 571 Posts	Posted 02/16/2016 08:51 am In my time roll hunting, I find it is just a bit harder for me to find an Alaska quarter that does NOT have at least one die chip between the claws. It seems to be an area prone to chipping. Report this Post to the Staff
CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 02/16/2016 09:39 am Just this past weekend I got my first Alaska quarters (3) 2 have the chips and 1 is actually okay at least in that area, haven't checked out the rest of the coin yet. They sure are pretty though. I don't find much of anything either (but I am fairly new so I don't know a lot yet) so I like whatever I can find, identify and confirm through this great forum Good Luck !!
