Saw an interesting article on the proposed 2019 Basketball Hall of Fame coins.

I agree with the author, I don't think these will do as well as the 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame coins. Basketball isn't quite as popular as baseball and a domed coin is no longer a new and exiting concept. Although the Baseball Hall of Fame coins are still higher on the secondary market than their issue price from mint, they have lost some of their luster in the past several years when all of the hype died down and the flippers unloaded their inventories.
