Found this in supermarket change yesterday night.

The last T in Trust and the last 9 in the date appear to be missing most likely from a Grease Filled Die?

My second 1909 found in change there in 2 years they have huge coin dump machine and located next to massive retirement community. dump sock drawer change might be the reason.

Any comments, suggestions or feedback welcome

Sly - The Lincoln Cent was introduced in 1909, so any 190? has to be from 1909. :)
That is an interesting coin, looks to be struck through, but I will wait for the experts to chime in.

Very nice find O-F. Not too often you can find a missing number in the date and still know when it was made! The missing T is a nice kicker too.
The missing devices look like all grease to me, I don't think wear had anything to do with them.

Looks like it is a Struck Through Grease and the coin has been way over cleaned through the years. (in a bad way)

with Coinfrog. It's one thing to find a 1909 Wheat cent but it's another to find a 1909 Wheatie that has been Struck Through Grease! Nice find!

Now that you mention it Gymcoachdon, maybe what O-F has there is a 1909-S-VDB!
