Bought a small collection a while back that had a few US coins in it - interesting to think this coin is closer to being 200 years old than 100.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to look and offer grading suggestions.

VG range to my eye. There is an X scratched on the scroll of the reverse that might make this a details coin.

If you want to try your hand at variety attribution, here's a helpful site http://www.everythinghalfdimes.com/...se-dies.html

VG details, the green stuff might be pvc damage. A soak in acetone might help.
