Nearly two grams under weight? I don't see why, but this probably is a fake. Give it a heads or tails flip... zinc will just make a "dink" noise.

2 grams underweight (or about 25%) is a very good indication that's it's fake.

On numista someone said:

"Not fake. Very heavy corrosion. The black color is the last before the end of a coin. By the way I had tried to the past to conservation this situation with very bad effect.
Back to the point. Not fake. "

but personally I have never seen before copper - nickel coin after corrosion with such colour.

it is hard for be to believe that a coin missing one quarter of its original mass would still have this level of detail remaining. I understand that someone on numista thinks it is real, but I am doubtful.
