1935 Mercury Dime Cud? - Coin Community Forum

I don't know if it is a Cud, die crack or lamination error on the obverse where In God We Trust should be. But it is positioned on the exact opposite side of a depression with the ax head missing on the reverse side. * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

Lamination still have the impression of the original strike showing underneath, although it all depends on the severity of the lamination. There are signs to check.
