Thank you UltraRant for those cool coins.  Trying to find information about them prompted me to read about Svalbard on Wikipedia. A fascinating place! For example, in addition to the interesting facts you mentioned, "Svalbard is the northernmost settlement in the world with a permanent civilian population." Hardy folks! Isn't coin collecting fun?  ~ Mark P.S. A consensus of Wikipedia editors, including those with extensive knowledge about Norway, has determined that the Svalbard Wikipedia article is a 'Good' article. A 'Good' rating is equivalent to an MS-69 in our world.

UltraRant, thanks for the story on the Svalbard coin set. If I lived in Norway, it would be a 'gotta have it' set for me. A pretty nice 1914 Lincoln Cent. I wish I had one this nice. $110
