 Cel--a----bra---shun time! Finally made it to 999 posts, it's time. I've made this a whole lot easier than the first. Seems too many CCFer's were too lazy to try or had to see a doctor after their brains started dripping goo! The subject of today's experiment padwans is to identify Eddie the Eagle in all his glorious poses for American coins. Your task today is guess Eddie's denominational abode, dates and mintmarks are optional. There were so very many specimins to choose from I'm having to make this guessing game in two parts, a part A and Part B sections. Since this is a two-parter, guess how many prizes this time? Two of course! Prizes for the winner of each section will be given a 1960P Lincoln SMALL Date in MS60. Very nice indeed. Your task padwans is to guess in order from 1 to 12 which coin on the A pix and/or the B pix. WARNING! NO TWO COINS ARE THE SAME DENOMINATION! Same designer but different #s. (There are hints on each that determine which Eddie is which.) You must look on BOTH posted pix for those clues! For now, each person has one guess, the first to come up with the correct answer wins that prize. If no correct guesses in....two weeks the ones with the most correct answers wins. No more hints will be forthcoming. Most of these coins are mine, some are stock and yes, there's even a fake or two. Anyone complaining about the size, color, lack of more details, well, had to make it TOUGH! Please take some time, I have made it tricky on purpose. Please format your answers as A1 is blah, blah, A2 is boo. hoo, and so on, so I can compile the answers without going any crazier than I am. Here are the two puzzles: Have fun all! I am confused. Do you want us to guess the coin by the Eagles shown on both A&B, and no two coins are the same denomination?

Montcollector, yes that is correct. The images posted are not repeats of a specific DENOMINATION i.e. there may be two similar images but the coins have different value such as in the Capped Bust series there is a Half Dime, a Quarter and a 50 cent piece, which one or combination thereof am I using? Remember the warning, these images may not appear on the same page. Does that straighten things out?

Coinlover, Yep.
But I suggest you really are sure before you post, you may not be right and can't change it after 15 minutes!
There's another reason too, hope you can figure that out!
Remember also, you can guess one or both, you have the option.

My one question:
Are there no repeat denominations between A & B, or no repeats within A and B separately?

There are no repeated denominations between A and B, the images may be similar, they are not identical. The keys are in the images, those little thingies we call "differences"... Now, there will be more than one $1 image per page per se, those images will be different.

Thanks for the contest! PMing responses now. I didn't realize it got so late. If I win, it will be the hardest earned cent of my life.

Quote: Now, there will be more than one $1 image per page per se, those images will be different. I hate to be bothersome but I'm assuming that means repeated denominations just not the same type, e.g. Morgan dollar and Peace dollar. Anyway, congrats on 999+! Now if only I could come up with a good contest...

Good morning padwans! Not many responses so far, BUT, we do have a WINNER already! I'm impressed Druu, you have guessed the 12 correct answers to the A puzzle! (You didn't do so well on B). Drew got the message...a PM, that way if you are wrong your posting won't help your competitors! Didn't say that, did I? Here are the results so far
Druu = A, 12 correct B, 11 correct Montcollector = A, 9 correct B, 6 correct Nss52 = B, 9 correct
Yes, there are some velly tlicky vuns!
Spruett, now do you understand, Peace/Morgan different birds but both a buck...I will post the answer pix after all is over, I have yet to decide if there's a second or third place prize to be given, so don't give up, keep trying to those who haven't guessed so far! (I have to look and see what kind of extra junk, er, stock I have around!)

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS!
Yes there will be second AND third place awards! My grandson when "graduating" (?) from the 5th grade wound up with TWO awards for just " being there", in other words, "participation" attaboys. We MUST continue the march towards total self-centeredness, er I mean, self-esteem and do so here!. My awards may be kinda hard to use as toilet paper if the need would arise tho...
I will award the 2nd & 3rd place finishers in both the A & B contests with their choice of either 15-Mixed date Uncirculated copper Memorial cents from my roll stash (1959-1978) or 8-Pre-WW 1 mixed country world coins, mostly 1800's. Therefore, just about everybody's a weiner, er, winner!
