I have decided to sell out quite a few coins and proofs, don't like ebay feew, not sure I would do much better with a dealer, there used to be a site on this forum for selling, is it still there; can't seem to find it.

also, I don't expect to get current market for them, how much should I discount in terms of percentage?

any advice or help appreciated. thanxz, bob

Basicbob, try the sales section on left. Check the rules tho, single item sales seems to be the rule, although some are listing a lot more than 1 item when it comes to silver items? Don't know what that is about, phrase any questions to a Moderator. Check these posts for what these folks are asking, seems at times under the going rates on eww-boy or over those. People asking more/less because of paypal/eBay fees.

Suggestions

1) Get a secured payment, even here on CCF. Use Paypal, MO's for guaranty, waiting til checks clear is recommended.
2) follow the suggestion @ factor rates for "junk" silver
of 13.3-15%, be hard to get more.
3) Check RedBook values,BUT don't expect to get that, I'm seeing auctions go for 50-80% of RB $.
4). I'm no big fan of eww-boy (can't tell, can ya), but if you want to get a big rate of return, there always seems to be takers there even w/fees to pay.
5) There's always the option if you have a whole lot of items to sell, go through a local auction firm. I've done this and had good results. Auctioneers get 12-15%, they do all the work, pix advertising. I made sure mine was an on-line auction, seems to get bigger audience. This I highly recommend you checking out.

Good luck, PM me with any questions and what you have for sale, I probably won't be rich enough to buy any but will help w/value/sale figure.
