I would like some help regarding two elements of this 1944 Canada 5C coin . First, could I receive some opinions concerning the grade of said coin? Second, having scoured the internet (including coin community forums) as it relates to the coin, what factors assist in differentiating between "regular" chrome plated steel, "partial," and "missing?"
Hey Mr. Coinman! Your coin appears to be chrome and in around EF condition as far as I can tell from your pictures.due to the bluish hue I can tell it is chrome, if you hold a nickel from the 40s or late 50s up to it, you can see a color difference. If the steelie has the same look as the nickel coin, then it would be no chrome :)
