Definitely a nice looking cent. Then...you get to the third pic.

I have developed an extreme frustration with exactly that. Surely, there's a safe way to remove that? Nope. It's there to stay.

Yours is still a keeper though. That's not the most blatant print I've seen.

The only thing worse is when somebody takes a perfectly good AU-MS cent and dips it in jewelry cleaner to get the fingerprint out! Ouch!

Contact the FBI? Maybe they can run the print through APHIS and tell you whom to blame...

You said you found it ,I'm assuming in the wild . If that's the only problem with that coin I would not complain too much . He's a handsome feller in my book .

In pic #2 it looks like there are some scratches on it... possibly from a cleaning?

If the fingerprints bother you, set it free. The next person who finds it may not mind them so much.
