Portuguese bimetallic 100-escudo coin of 1989, with the brass insert removed and re-inserted the wrong way around - not very expertly!

Strangely this was the first example of this type of coin I ever saw - I received it in change in the year 2000 on a trip to Portugal. It puzzled me at the time, and it was only after getting other coins of the same type in change, later on the same trip, that I realised what had happened!

Maybe I should put it on ebay as a rare mis-strike!

Some of my recent mistakes. Vandalized because I was not paying as much attention to what I was supposed to be doing and had to start over on another coin.

A couple more squashed British pennies - from the LEGOLAND theme park at Windsor. When I got these in 2001, penny press machines were quite a novelty in the UK:
