Hello everybody: I just want to share this uncirculated (or at least A.U. ) 2 pesos 1978 Colombian " Woody " coin that I got recently ( and why not hear your wise and expert opinions ) , coin that I believe could be a good and nice example of this kind of " error ". Please enjoy it .Best

This is another Colombian coin that shows frequently "woody " characteristics. Is a 5 pesos 1987 coin and in a colloquial way is called Policarpa ( one famous heroine of the freedom war of Colombia ).As the other one,it is made also of bronze - from wikipedia : Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper, commonly with about 12% tin and often with the addition of other metals , such as aluminum, manganese, nickel or zinc, and sometimes non-metals or metalloids such as arsenic, phosphorus or silicon - Some wise guys ised to say that this wood appearance is " an
anomaly of the metal composition,that is an error in the
mixing of copper and zinc." I would like to hear all of your also wise opinions .Best

I don't think the first one it's a woody. I think those are roller marks, just as on the USA cents.
