truman1404 Valued Member United States 284 Posts	Posted 05/30/2017 1:36 pm I found about a doz of these in some rolls I was looking through, anyone know what caused this? There are raised lines on the "I" and the "N" and the E in we has indentions on both sides, plus the B & R in liberty have indentions and raised lines as well. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 05/30/2017 1:50 pm Seeing a lot of different things, last pix W is die chip upper left leg, others appear to be the start of a filled die...they tend to fill side to side in creavases, esp. 1st polishing. Now the N in fist pix is interesting. Nice pix BTW, what's on top...strike thru? or die cracks? Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/30/2017 1:57 pm That year had a lot of master die doubled dies. They were from all three mints. Making up a larger percentage of the cents that year. So it is a common Master doubled die. No premium for them though. Report this Post to the Staff
