I have a coin from Teos that is giving me some trouble in getting a reference for it.
Information seems scarce at best which isn't making it any easier, I have scoped many sites and I still cant find it.
The Obverse is a match for SNG COP - 1492, the reverse is the part I am struggling to find a match for.
SNG COP 1492 has an eagle and only 1 city name on the reverse.
If anyone is familiar with coins from this mint I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

Obverse - bust of senate
Reverse - Dionysus S/L, Cantharus in R/H - Thyrsus in L/H

Edit: I see this is a 1492 also...assuming the eagle isn't just worn or low, could the coin be a mule?

Thanks for the reply Bob, I have already been through the " basics " so to speak and FAC doesn't have this particular variety.
The Reverse of the coin in the link has an Eagle ( winged griffin ) in left field and only 1 city name, mine has 2 city names and no Eagle ( griffin )
I have tried AsiaMinorcoins without any joy, I had to go to coinproject.com to find a similar coin SNG COP 1492.
Same Obverse but different Reverse.
That particular coin has a date of 1st - 3rd century which doesn't narrow things down much.

I honestly don't know enough to be able to make a decision either way Bob.
Maybe an unlisted Reverse type, definitely no Griffin in Left field, the Obverse is a match for SNG COP 1492 though.
