I didn't find anything listed about it so its probably not but I keep seeing a doubled ear on this 1977-D penny...

Looks like circulation damage. Notice the "top ear" is straight across at the bottom. The "lower ear" is rounded. If it were a double ear both would look the same.

If you are referring to the bottom of the ear lobe,it looks like it took a hit.

It's post-it damage. It was done outside of the mint.
