Anyone Know Anything About Ancient Rings? Real Or Repro?

I was just thinking since there are so many people here who know a ton about ancient Romans coins maybe you could help me out here. I came across some rings at an antique store for $15 a piece and they are supposedly ancient rings. I bought one that I thought looked alright. I wore it and it turned my finger a tad bit green so it is definitely bronze. Thoughts on it? Here is another interesting ring that looks very real. I didn't buy it but maybe I will go back. Whether Roman or Byzantine I don't know - although the crudeness of the incised pattern may suggest Roman...Byzantine patterns seem to have been a bit more sophisticated. Do a Google image search on "Byzantine archer's ring" or "Roman archer's ring" and you'll probably see a bunch. Not my collecting area, but I suspect the symbols on the first coin were just decorative. Rings were used to make impressions in clay. Sometimes they would have figurative scenes incised in them, but often they just had decorative patterns.
