I recently got this coin in a junk lot on ebay, and I've typed in everything I can possibly think of.

I'm assuming it's a token, one with both Asian symbols and English letters, neither of which helped my search, and it's about the size of a U.S. quarter.

Does anyone know anything about this piece?

I think it could be a Japanese token because the second symbol looks like the kanji symbol for 'country'
Hope this is of some help.

Keep in mind that it might be Chinese. The first one is love. The dictionary suggests that #24859; #22269; means patriotism. The back is pretty distinct -- looks like gothic font, I'm thinking AIR (with the I and R really close to each other), maybe as in the air force.

Can't find the token but maybe that'll help.

**it won't display the kanji font here, but you can look them up if you need to now.

Didn't know name of symbol but yes, is Japanese...sen on other coins and currencies also.

Could these be a gaming token, The Japanese used to be big in slot machine type games.

I did some more digging and found an old thread where someone had a token with a very similar design.

Someone on there mentioned that it was most likely a pachinko token, or as Crazyb0 said, a slot machine token, used for pachinko games in Japan.

I can't find my specific one, but there are thousands of different designs in use.

Thank you all for your input. I was really stumped on this one.
