The 1 has a 90 degree at top to the right, and the 9 seems plugged. Could this be PMD?

Looks like they both just took a hit to me, but the one does not look flattened so I am not entirely sure.

I agree with you that this is PMD, but I also agree that the 1 looks a little unusual. The 9 looks like very typical smoshing from PMD.
