Wow, that's a great find in pocket change! Congratulations on that find. I remember finding a 1970 P Dime with a reverse of a 1968 S Proof reverse in change I got from the store after cashing in my coins at CoinStar.
Errers and Varietys.

This is a cool find, it's got a lot going on on this little coin, impressive Clashes on both sides, die cracks, die chips on the Nose ,top of the hair you've got a winner. missed the second part of your post: This is a first on 2016 for me,it looks like it is in a AU condition with sharp details, if it were mine I would have valued at between $12.00 - $16.00, I would start the bid as $10.00 on ebay. There are definitely interested collectors for Clashed dies on Dimes.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad ya'll like it. I appreciate the compliment on the pictures Uruman. I learned how to take them here, while learning numismatics and other things. Now that I sell some coins good pics are imperative. I have found people won't buy what they cannot see. lol My son brings me jars of his change, EandV. I search and roll them, cash in at the bank and pay him face amount for most coins and split 50/50 on nice ones. Thanks for the congrats, Moxking. Finding ones like this one makes me jump. Thanks for the ace Tunnioc. I'll keep it in mind. I've always kept an eye to the west on the reverse. Chase, you are always so observant, and a good listener too. Attributes that I'm I'm sure serve you well. I appreciate your answering my question. I'd say one of this caliber and condition $16 would be minimum. I think auctions are gambling, could end up selling for $10. I don't like trying to offer low in hopes of getting what I want. I listed it for $35 with best offer and accepted $20. It sold in one day. The guy that bought it has a user ID very similar to the name of one of the experts on one the sites we frequent. I think he got a good deal. It's not for me to say who he is, because it's his business. I guess they find them and buy them the same as we do. How about you there Conder101? I thought about you when I found this one. I owed CCF this clash after the bum "Winged Kennedy" you helped me with. Pretty nice huh?

Yes I think it probably will Chase. I don't know that I'll get credit for discovering it because I sold it. Maddie Clashes aren't taking submissions, for that matter neither is Trail Dies. At any rate, I posted it here before I sold it. I have appointed a special team of attorneys to look into the matter if it becomes necessary. lol Thanks for the pics coop, a lot to see there. I got lucky with this one. A couple coins later I found a 98 WAM. I probably should have bought a lottery ticket that day.

Quote: The die is in the LDS when your coin was struck. With so much clashing on the deeper devices, the die may have been previously polished thinning the fields and allowing the clash to affect the bust area That's exactly right! I had wondered how it could be in the bust and not super strong in the fields. That probably would have occurred to me in another 50 yrs. or so. Who taught you all this stuff? I know one can deduce a lot, but you must have had a mentor. I know you're buds with Mike, was he the one? For what I know, I can always look back to CCF with the emphasis on Coop. Also, that last set of pictures are absolutely awesome. Thank you for that, very little rotation on this one. They make no doubt about what everything is. Coop, you remain The Man.

Some things I come up with on my own. Sometimes I learn and adjust when theories don't pan out. But the clash overlays I've been making for years now. It just helps having them side by side, then you can see, rather than guess what it is. When I spot great images that show me something else, I add them to my files so others can benefit from them. Thus why I stress to copy they images you will need for another time. Then when you need to post them, then add them to your image host and share when needed. That is why I make them. For educational purposes.
