Small & Large Date 1982 Lincolns Help

Rainman Valued Member United States 294 Posts	Posted 05/08/2008 4:07 pm Is there a trick to telling the size difference? Ive gone through numbers of these I cant see a difference. Was wondering if there is a way to make it easier to tell the difference. Like holding a toothpick over the date if it covers it that's a small date. I just asked a dealer today to explain a quick way to tell the differences and he said the easiest way was just to buy a set of 7 and be done with it. I didn't like that answer.
