1859 Canada Large Cent - Strange Looking Coin

I think the extra "dots" were something that stuck to the coin sometime after it left the mint. There are some markers on this coin that can help identify the dies that produced it. The obverse has a die crack at the last A of GRATIA and the I of REGINA was repunched higher that the T and A. Those markers are consistent with Haxby obverse 37. On the reverse the stem to leaf 9 looks like reverse die F7. If it is F7 there would be no repunching of the 9. Were I too see it in a bin like many of the other large cents I have bought "in the wild" of late, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat!!
