second great find CRH this week on top of a 1914 D LWC find. Haven't seen documented rpms that this even comes close to on the other sites and with the gunk in there I can't help but let my imagination run wild. solid find either way!

Try some of this on your coin.

Or even some soapy water with a soft toothbrush. I wouldn't recommend either on a more valuable coin though.

This is probably a $100 coin. To me, that IS a valuable coin.

Goes to prove what a low budget collector I am.

There are two well-established 1909-S RPMs, but this does not appear to be either of them.

Oh I don't plan on cleaning or polishing it in any was. Just the coin itself is enough for me
