I'll start this off with a French franc. Over 50 million of this denomination were struck for the year in .835 fine silver. The first is a 15 pfennig from Munich, made from zinc (Funck #348.1). The other is a 25 pfennig from Coblenz, ferrous in composition (Funck #80.2). Of course, within just a few years after their issue, hyperinflation had rendered these utterly worthless. Toward the end of 1923, a ton of them (as in actual aggregate weight as opposed to a mere figure of speech(, even if anyone would've accepted such a ridiculous form of payment, probably couldn't have bought a loaf of bread.
