Hi Folks,

I was wondering if there is a definitive guide on how to take photos of a large number of coins for the purpose of discussion, unofficial grading, and ebay sales?

I'm talking probably many hundreds of individual coins, proof sets, packaged commemoratives, etc.

I have a good DSLR (no macro lens yet), and I also have a basic USB microscope camera. But I have never taken photos of coins and I imagine people have already perfected the art.

Thanks!

There is a whole category here for photography, and many skilled photographers that can offer a wealth of assistance.

The Photography section is listed under General Numismatic Discussion Forums category.
