Help Identify 3 Coins Or Tokens Unknown To Me...

Coconutjoe Pillar of the Community United States 1475 Posts	Posted 02/03/2018 02:02 am Hello, I know very little about World coins (I'm US type collector), but had a chance to acquire batch of about 150 coins. Many were labeled, but some were not. With help of Numinsta, I have identified most, but are baffled with 3 coins or tokens. Can someone identify what these are? Report this Post to the Staff

NJcoppers Valued Member United States 184 Posts	Posted 02/03/2018 03:03 am The first one looks like: 1743 Bavarian commemorative medal, GERMAN STATES. PATRONA BAVARIAE - CARO MAG DUC BAVA. Finn235 Pillar of the Community United States 6130 Posts	Posted 02/03/2018 2:13 pm It's an ancient Roman coin of emperor Aurelian, who ruled 270-275 AD. Pretty sure it's RIC 352 on here, SAECVLI FELICITAS (Joyous Times), Aurelian standing with spear and globe: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/aurelian/i.html I added that in there for fun, but I thought I had at least put basic attribution info... sorry for that! The coin is a double denarius, or Antoninianus. It was legally a silver coin, but by 270 would have been used about like we would use quarters or half dollars today; it was only about 2% silver and had negligible buying power.
