I have been looking around for an album for Capped Bust half dollars. I have decided to go with a Dansco Half Dollars album, and add my own label in front of each hole. I also plan to add a small piece of cardboard next to each coin to prevent them from spinning in the hole. However, I am beginning to wonder if there is a better album for Capped Bust half dollars, and if so, what is it?

I plan to just do a CBH date set, and not every variety. I will skip the 1815 and 1836 reeded edge.

You might just want to have them graded. If there is anything of amazing value, like draped busts, Whitman and Littleton won't make a draped bust album due to their value. If you really need this album even though it is worse than actually having them graded, email whitman about a possibility for making a CBHD album. Hope This Helps! -Ezra

I was referring to the Capped Bust half dollar series, which were produced from 1807 - 1839. Not the Draped Bust half dollar. Most of the Capped Bust half dollars I have are not worth having graded.

Thanks. I think this sounds like the easiest solution. I will try it out. Is there any specific brand of 20 pocket page that you would recommend?

Try a vinyl 12 pocket page which fits into an empty Dansco album. That way all your albums will match.
